- The terminal settings are pretty much irrelevant as long
- as it's the right comport. The important bit is the O.K response to +H0.
- The +H0 command is normally used to turn off RPI facilities. In theory an
- RPI modem returns ok because it understands the command, while a non rpi
- modem will respond error. However just because your modem responded ok
- does not mean that the modem is RPI. Some modems will go OK to almost any
- command for the sake of compatiblity with initialisation stings. The
- following may make things a bit clearer,
- go into terminal and fire of ATI3 if the response contains the letters
- RPI, you've got one.
